Life Preserver? Me thinks you need to get yourself a neck brace so you will be forced to look only forward and instead of falling back into the same old sad story, perhaps you can write yourself a new one and eventually live within it. By holding on to the past we destine ourselves to fall back into those same patterns and to live the same heartaches over and over again.
