As it brushed against my face
I smelled the scent of lavender
It refreshed my soul and embraced my body
The throb of the breeze lands me against the wall


The shape of the clouds wavering beyond the horizon
Leave me to focus as I gently closed my eyes
Displaced by the shivering
I was relieved of the grief I buried inside


It coaxed my body in slow motion
Dried out my skin leaving me with an undying thirst
As it planted a counterfeit kiss on my lips
