I’m trying to get a good night’s rest
for three years nightmares
of sudden doom
So I thought and prayed
positively you know
and here it goes for friends and foes

The tool in life and woes
goes
to ourselves, no other knows
Life and its blows, stars, and scars
stretches our performance and
sometimes slows

We are each truly unique
as investment and instrument with a physique
mind over matter...

I don’t mind and it doesn’t matter

To be effective takes courage
mistake prone are we
self-control you dolt!
potential is like a belly button
everyone has one to splurge

Patience, respect, responsibility
all a desire and drive
no atmosphere possesses your agility
to match persistence and patience

Clearing the map is in front of you
the past is behind
and love of others is the glue

You are a capable
living and loving being
without neglect you consider
What can you be remembered for?
Progress?
Achievement?
Diligence?
or arch enemies?

Scorn, its cousin Hate
Commit to achieve
When no one else dared
Guard your thoughts
let failure not scare

You are a gem
A diamond in the rough
Make this a useful life
Neglect no more

I think now of the
forgotten names
no more
thankful for life
as if today was my last day...
