I dreamed of peaceful seas and

Remarkable integrity of Gulf Stream currents,
dashing swiftly in full obedience
to the ocean beds and sea skirts command.

Geostrophic dances of the wind,
sends illuminated light to bathyal zones.

Wing footed mollusk, Scarlet shrimp and
Brittle star, hide happily near the bottom
of the ocean floor.

We wade gently at the littoral level,
trying not to disturb the home were we stand.

Sudden releases take place and like children,
we water fight and form air shields,
only to enjoy the butter warm sun.

Pink and white sand creates socks on our feet,
Several dark shades seem to camp out
around your aqua swim shorts and

my butter pecan colored bikini strings.

We walk and toss black pebbles
ecstatic to feel this great again,
nothing carnal; everything's beautiful

just needed to touch your hand

and see your face sweet friend,

tell you "thank you" in person

for the gift you've given me,
