October winds proved to be too much for me. I retreat, chilled by distant dark memory, Into layers thick with fleece forgetfulness. This time I have no verse, no song, no rhyme. I find myself lost, out of place, out of time. Carved smile, all rotting orange, I'm hollowed out. Finding faith a candle snuffed, I'm plagued by doubt, Disintegrate, disappear, am swept away.

I can relate to these verses from beginning to end. Especially
"Carved smile, all rotting orange,
I'm hollowed out./Finding faith a candle snuffed,
