My mind would have me scream it out loud and,
spinning illusion’s web, catch me like a spider in a dream
where the reverberated message ripples out in waves:
I. Am. So Tired.
The truth is this new day dawning and a knowing
emerges full and bright --
I. Am. So. Awake.
Returning to my center
I rest in silken strands of life that flow from me.
I become the eye of the observer.
No more life’s object, I am free,
... brought back to LIGHT.
My heart would have me stand outside this pain perceived,
awash in a pool of endless reflection in the half-light
and afraid to stay with love, reciting a mantra of separation:
I. Am. Heart. Broken.
The truth is it is morning a new day
and the Son risen full in me --
I. Am. Whole-Hearted.
Returning to my center
I am born to the light of day that shines in me.
I fall into love lightly and allow what is to be.
