An Image of Winter
Silence glistens with blue-white light as Earth’s frozen beauty masks promises of spring. Night’s cold stillness wraps the moonlit valley. “Still, still, still,” whisper muted zephyrs Zigging and zagging silently amid snow-bejeweled pines Playing a quiet natural symphony. Richly frosted gingerbread buildings stand In cerulean splendor forming a snow-light night Interrupted only by booted crunches.

I love this poem, it's been over a hundred or close to it for weeks here and this just was a refreshing break. Made me long for winds in the pines and glistening snow! So beautiful.
