For every new journey, there is a path left behind.

Poem Artwork

For the journey of life is forging new trails unknown
Leading down paths toward that final Light home
Previously joined in the Spirit, it is those whom we seek
To walk together again ‘till a fork we may reach

Then part, ah! we must! For the great tide has turned
In the distance a calling, stoking embers that burn
To chase new horizons and seek a new glory
Time that is now becomes future’s new story

We walk separate roads once more, for a while
Memories and remembrances keep us warm through the miles
Take quiet! Find joy in this friendship that spans
Across ice cold blue waters into far distant lands

For now I must sail on a ship of my own
With heavy heart leave from this place I have grown
I send prayers of good tidings across the great wind
And say you, Farewell! We shall meet again!

Beautiful. I've never been good with good-byes...I'll keep this in mind for the next one!

Diana,

Ooooh. I love that picture! I have taken many like it. God paints pretty skies, especially in Texas sunsets. :)

And this is a powerfully inspiring journey of words: excellently penned.

(((HUGS))) and love, karla.

A great trail blazing write, it is this kind off work that keeps me up at 04:14 lol...
Very deep, yet so inspiring to know others are on the same path....

BTW no tv...Kewl
