gentle came the rain overnight creating harmonies upon textures of overhead structures i enjoy the comfort of shelter the cozy warmth of blankets the softness of the pillow i acknowledge this privilege and feel graced of its blessing where I may enjoy the sound of rain upon the roof

Gentle rain is nice to have once in a while. Especially because it replenishes the earth. But I find that if it is prolonged, rain leads to melancholy. Let's hope the morning is clear and bright with dew dripping everywhere.
