From the moment I laid eyes on you in Junior High
Little butterflies in my stomach went wild
You walked into the classroom like a ray of sunshine
And lit up my world with the radiance of your smile
You celestified the whole class with your unique style
For it was the first time
Such an angel was in our sight
Your arrival brought new meaning to my life
That! I couldn't deny
I begged time to leave me behind
Because I wanted to dwell in the moment in time
When you stole my heart and made my days worthwhile
Your presence around me sparked a fire
Forcing my soul to shower
In the sea of tender desire
And day by day, my feelings for you grew stronger
But I never knew I was on the path to thorned pastures
Because now, our moments are being tortured by strangers
I knew I wanted you to be mine
Yes! I wanted you to be my valentine
Sadly, my innocence didn't give me the right to act
Even though my young heart was screaming inside
My true feelings, I no longer wanted to hide
But my mind struggled with the reality of you and I
As I adored you from afar
In the infancy of our time.
