Today, even though none of our children were physically here with us, but yet I felt I had the most wonderful Mother's Day, ever!
It isn't because of the fact that I had received expensive gifts from my hubby, or from my children. Material things aren't worth as much as their love and caring.
We are going to celebrate Mother's Day, as well as my birthday next weekend at our son's place. I'm assuming him and his girlfriend are going to give me a birthday party.
They all called me today to wish me Happy Mother's Day!! My daughter talked with me at length. She and I are best friends and we are so alike in our temperaments. Sometimes I would look at her and marvel at how much she is like I was when I was her age. A little rebellious, and yet loving her parents just the same.
Our two boys have grown so much, and ever since their daddy got sick they have been more than helpful and caring toward us in every way; and I just cannot ask for better sons.
All's well today... and I'm happy...and so is everyone!! That's all that counts.
Next week I will be another year older, and my children think I'm worth partying about, and that's alright with me. Heeeheee!!! Guess I'm just one of those mothers who has never got tired of having too much fun yet.

Thank you so much everyone for commenting on this post!!! I had a real wonderful day with my children today!!!! My son and his girlfriend made a nice dinner for us all!!! This Chinese girl is a real wonderful little chef!!!! She's also cute and pretty and very easy to get along with. I REALLY REALLY LIKE her a lot!!!! I hope she and my son will get married. This is my biggest wish for them both!!!!!! In my opinion she's so right for my son!!!!!!! Now I'm going to pray that they will get married soon. I really can't wait!!!
