A song I wrote many years ago.
Being in the light with you Is all I really care to do I can’t hold you no more I can’t go to your door But… I can see you at night in my dreams I can see you at night in my dreams And when I awake You are still here The energy surrounds me And then comes the tears I’m being in the light with you Being in the light with you It’s that… that feeling… that carries me Dawn breaks – both feet hit the floor On with my day as never before Feeling your soul, talking with you Makes the daylight hours Easier to go through Being in the light with you Is all I really care to do I can’t hold you no more I can’t go to your door But… I can see you at night in my dreams I can see you at night in my dreams When we meet again In heaven they say I shall hold you like life never ends Cause I can see and I can feel A glowing ball of energy That is so real Being in the light with you Is all I really care to do I can’t hold you no more I can’t go to your door But… I can see you at night in my dreams I can see you at night in my dreams
