A retreat from dizzying life, lovely poem Dawn!
I too like to say other things than "I am", but you are so wise taking a class. I just came up with this makeshift on my own, but I like to breathe in and out colors, and the words light, love, joy and for me, because it is my faith, Jesus.
I get the wiggles after five minutes anyway and start swearing under my breath instead!

Brilliant poem. It really doesn't get more basic than that. I am. That's it. Everything which comes after is a surrogate to which we transfer our indigenous identities. I am this, I am that, I do this, etc. All phony extensions of self in which we lose our true essence. In my recent poem Skyscrapers I talked about this too. It's all about phony extension of indigenous power to outside things then reclaiming it by way of asking the Universe for help. Please give me, nothing happens. Please help me, you receive sustenance, please use me (most highly evolved request in the Universe) and you're off and running with infinite power.
