We complain about the heat...we can seek shelter.
Our heros can't.
The sun beats down
Making it difficult to breath
The air is heavy and humid
And we all complain
And pray for cooler days
But then my prayers
Turn to those
Who fight in the heat
And do it for me and you
In full gear weighing
Seventy pounds,
These mothers, fathers, daughters and sons.
So let’s not complain but be so thankful
That we are free to seek shelter
From the heat
AMEN. We think it hot here ... there, but for the Grace of God, go I.
