I will learn more from you
Than you will ever learn from me.
And Dr. Nerd
Is still a nerd.

But I must give advice.
It is the way of things.
The old fools must teach
The young fools.

Do not let your immortality
Become the omen of your destruction
Nor your omniscience
The black hole of your wisdom.

It is better to be a star
Than a comet.

Learn to fail properly.
It is the mark of grace.
But failure is not surrender
And sorrow is light years from despair.

For each new day
The horizon drops
And the sun appears
To chase away nights' long shadows.

So we must not lose our faith in light
Even when we stand in darkness.
For though its rays may be at times obscured,
The source remains unaltered.

God loves you even when
You do not love yourselves.
You are His children.
He has no choice.
