A reflection of growing in grace, encouragement and loving one another

When thinking of others do our thoughts give us pause?
Are we forgetting God's grace and all we see are flaws?

Do we expect perfection in all that's said or done?
Is this the standard measure for all or just for some?

Cleanliness is next to godliness...a saying I'm sure you've heard
But please tell me where I can find it in God's holy word

The point is grace - the awesome gift God has given
And it's through his grace that it is divinely written:

Not by works that anyone can boast
It's by the blood of Jesus Christ, the One who loves us most

He looked beyond our faults and saw our every need
And so my brothers and sisters, I ask that you would take heed

Grow in grace and pray for one another
Be it friend or enemy, neighbor, friend, family too
and don't forget all others

We are blessed to be a blessing for such a time as this
God is Holy and Sovereign and we don't want to miss

His goodness, love and mercy or the provision of His grace
Only His way is perfect, of that make no mistake

A free card to sin? Oh no God forbid!
Nothing catches God off guard- evil is not
ever hid

So much is overwhelming so hard to understand
Yet we must trust
In God's eternal plan

His love is forever Faithful- His love is ever True
He longs for us to seek Him and waits patiently for me and you

So in grace we are to gain the knowledge of the LORD Jesus Christ
Know the God of the word through the word of God and apply it to our life

Love one another and in prayer see what Jesus sees
Hearts and souls so thirsty and longing for relief

Give it all to Jesus each other's pains and faults
Trust Him and forgive just as God said we ought

Kingdom builders we are called to be
Not tearing down each other for all the world to see

Be the light and th
e salt, a holy balm that heals
A sin sick world that destroys, maims and
Ultimately seeks to kill

Oh have ears to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying
No time left to doubt, no time to be playing


Grow in grace and be encouraged endure until the end
God blessed us with a Savior who is Lord, Advocate, Brother and Friend!!!
