A pause for introspection and self evaluation on the Christian journey

I look in the mirror and what do I see
A reflection of Christ living in me?
Is my discussion based on world view entertainment OR
have I made living God's word my personal attainment?
I think... no wonder the lost are so mixed up
When carnal minds deceived - just argue and fuss
Did you see what was on TV?
Girl... nothing but dirt called "Reality"
But yet watching it week after week
When time better spent is at the Savior's feet
Instead tuned in to check the present situation
Allowing this mess priority without hesitation
Overflowing with bitterness, profanity and disdain
Professing to be in Christ while worldly ways remain
Doing and saying anything for a laugh
Did you forget He'll separate the wheat from the chaff?
would you invite Jesus to spend the day with you?
If so, would your day be filled with what you normally do?
The question is this: "Does the life we live equip and edify?
Or are we trying to justify our choices and living a lie?
I've made my decision - I want to please the Lord!
My prayer brothers and sisters is to be in one accord
Glorifying God in all we say and do
That's my prayer... what about you?
