This is very beautiful and evocative. It moves me and focuses me, lifting my consciousness to a higher, purer viewpoint upon the ladder of ascending reality. Such, I think, is the power of beauty. To my way of thinking Infinity is the potential of things that never were (I love the notion of believing in that which never was, but yet might one day be),but also the Source of that which is and has been, as you so aptly expressed, 'memories branded upon life's vacant hide' - our current notion of reality. So it must be that the 'long window' is the 'portal' that connects us with Infinity, the Source of Life that makes us co-creators of experience. I hope I caught the essenes of your insight. I like the complexity of thought here Leann. The crack and flash of a storm filled with lighting and thunder does often change the landscape figuratively and sometimes also literally. You captured that insight well in this one.
