I think it's time you start riproaring loud poetry of your fondest wish. Let it happen and you'll be very happy.
I've always been loud and proud. Every poem is a great relief. I let that thought out. I nailed it. Maybe it isn't perfect, maybe it isn't appropriate and maybe nobody likes it. But I don't care. I'm happy.
I relate. The whole creative process is ebb and flow and at times frustrating. Still... the process needs persistence, and despite how we browbeat ourselves at times, remind yourself that every word matters, even when the process feels heavy and fruitless, and that you matter, and that no one else has your voice.
