Apparition

Apparition sways in moon's rays,
Delicate as a winter flower,
Curiosity its sweet, sad song,
Pristine this creature of visions,
Abstract to that called perception,
Lifelike only to the mind's eye,
For the nature of being
a dream within the soul.
