The tree stands before me
misshapen tower of
twisted and gnarled limbs
with its lone suitor
crow of blackest night
which calls out to eternity
but claims its right to be
perched so perceptively
on feeble branch
as if daring all who notice
to do the same.

BRAVO!
This screams loudly
and volumetrically in so few lines.
Simply marvelous!
Such a strong write is this.
