Stay this day
of reckless thoughts
born on summer breeze
to waste away the hours
but still continue to dream.
Stay this feeling of completeness
so charmed by autumn lace
beats the heart-
somber threads
held by need and desire
timed to classical notes
forever carried by song.
Stay this stone of winter's weight
to cast away all fears
and join with all the others
who quietly rest here.
Stay this moment of deliverance
flowering time to embrace
all faiths-
delighting in the ceremonies
which begin after it ends again.

Excellant verses filled with imagery and expressional flow...enjoyed this very much!

This is in fact very effective poetry. I agree with Ch'erie Perrette. This verse DOES have the ring of truth in it.
Also, your use of the verb "Stay" is highly imaginative. I can see all sorts of double-entendres in it, not the least of which is, "stay = hold to, hold on, keep"
