Chants float through hours,
carols sung in pure delight,
soloist always hidden by song,
a minstrel that dances with moonlight,
unwed nature sings to the heavens,
as solitary gifts bring silent rewards,
but such a blessing to glide
with life's perpetual opera,
and wear the years in acquaintance.
