Tears take me to my loneliness.
Warm drops of water gently caressing my skin.
Memories that want forgetfulness.
Wash away all the unsought sin.

Lies surround me now.
Love that was once found is lost.
Once again, my smile is a frown.
My heart is breaking as the cost.

Can there be trust after a lie?
I forgave you and told you I believe.
Can our love survive?
I want the pain and sorrow to relieve.

Lost in my loneliness.
The trail of tears I cry.
Can you once again fill the emptiness?
I give a heavy sigh.

Shall I give up on love this time?
It is a loss no matter what I do.
You broke your promise, it was your crime.
I sat here waiting just for you.

Trust and honesty is what I ask.
Look to the skies and the heavens above.
An answer to my questions is your task.
Reach in your heart and join mine with our love.

Am I the one you truly adore?
Can I feel that desire within your soul?
Do I keep you longing and wanting more?
Am I the one that makes you whole?

You can look into my eyes drowning in my tears.
Find a kiss upon my lips that is heaven sent.
Hold me in your arms sheltering me from all fears.
Find in my heart what my love for you meant.

Seems my loneliness is what is meant to be.
Each time I try to love my heart only breaks.
Open up my eyes and show me love to see.
Stop the pain inside my soul that causes heartaches.

Take away my loneliness and wash away my pain.
Kiss away my tears and restore our love.
Make me smile and give me happiness to gain.
Take me to the stars in the heavens above.

I will give you one more chance to prove your love for me.
I know you want to wash my tears away.
You say it was a need to fulfill only.
Your love for me is of respect, it will never sway.

I accept your promise and give you this chance.
I understand you are a man with needs.
I should be all that you want, love, and romance.
Listen to my words and take heed.

There will not be another chance to keep my heart.
I am a good woman with a loving and kind soul.
I believe in forgiveness and love from the start.
Only one time I will forgive, the rest will take its toll.

My love is meant to last forever.
Do not break my heart and tear our love apart
