Impossible as it may seem,
I kept living this crazy dream.
Over and over in my mind,
Something I know I cannot find.

A world of hazy illusions,
Caught up in all the confusion;
You slowly pass before my eyes,
Then I remember all your lies.

I wonder why you were so mean?
The signs were there, I should have seen.
How could you keep leading me on?
Turned around and you were soon gone.

This is not the first time for me,
I have been here before you see.
I learned from my mistakes with you,
No longer am I feeling blue.
