With me is where you want to be,
Gently giving all your love to me.
You try to stay away from me and hide,
But you find your way back to my side.

Always watching me in the dark,
I see your signs and your mark.
Silently floating in the abyss,
Far away from my tender kiss.

You watch as I smile and move on,
With a new love my heart has won.
I still hear you whisper my name,
Telling me your love is still the same.

When the pain is too much to bear,
You let me know you are still there.
I want to tell you it will all be okay,
That we will be together again one day.

Reality has taken control,
And our love has paid the toll.
Life did everything to keep us apart,
But it did not stop all the love in our hearts.

Maybe in the next life we will be together,
And no one can tear us apart – not ever.
Until that time I will contently trace,
Your precious love that time cannot erase.
