A reflection on my daughter's graduation from high school in 2003 and her subsequent marriage in 2010.

2003

Deep water, crystal
spirit, ready to bloom; yes,
leaping forward into life. 

 2010

Daughter, woman, mom,
wife today; life in reverse,
leaping forward--Yes!

A speaker at my grad in 1962 said the best days of our lives would be remembered school day. But forging ahead in the world did take lots of work and is still challenging to me. Oh that she is ready to take the challenges of the world upon her too. Forward is the only way to go.
