Shards of my love are littered around me

I try to clean them up and put them back in order

My trust is over by the door-broken into small pieces

My desire has been stomped on by a passerby

My beauty has been distorted and it is almost unrecognizable

I am tempted to get a garbage can and just dump the whole mess into it without a second thought...

Then the prospect of what almost was evolves into what could be and I reconsider my decision

Maybe someone will be patient enough to help me piece together the mess that you have just created.
