I shoulda said no when I wasn't ready
I coulda coulda used a rubber though he said he loved me
I woulda graduated at the top of my class
But I didn't now I'm pregnant without my babies dad
I shoulda followed what my heart showed me
I coulda listened to what my parents told me
I woulda been the star of the college games
but I didn't now I'm locked up in dis cell for ten
I shoulda stop drinking while I had the chance
I coulda been there for my wife and kids
I woulda made better choices through out my life
but I didn't now I'm gone and My family crys
I shoulda kept my body drug free
I coulda had some sense while chillen wit peeps
I woulda left my heat where it was supposed to be
But I didn't fired off and dee got caught wit me
I shoulda listen to my family about livin the streets
I coulda prevented prostituting to eat
I woulda used protection if I knew I had aids
But I didn't now I'm dead but my virus still spreads
