I just started watching Outlander, going back to the first episode in 2014 where a British woman is second honeymooning in Scotland and is transported back 200 years by a magical Druid rock. So far a fascinating and captivating story. More for the accurate depiction of 1734 Highlands life than the trickery of time travel. She is a Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's court.
Based on your poem and the way it raves about the book, I believe that story is also a fun read and may be made into a movie thanks to your review.
