The mob violence at our nation's Capitol building motivated my poem below.

My heart is broken, USA,

by violence seen yesterday.

Fresh tears still burn upon my face.

Hard to deal with this sad disgrace.

A search for peace must now begin.

I hope we solve this mess we’re in.

It turned out okay. The majority of our citizens saw it for what it was. Fortunately, they did not catch any of the Congress persons in session. And fortunately, very few died. Only one officer.

It certainly shows us what is the right thing to do rather than what is not.
