I had written this poem when I was 19 years old. Strangely, it was inspired by a dream about my car running off of a bridge into what appeared to be a shallow creek. The creek was actually quite deep and I was surprised. That inspired the line "dreams of deception"
What feelings of contempt I bear
within my blackened heart.
Longing for something which is not there-
finishing something that did not start.
Hideous figures bent to form
writhing snakes beneath dark covers.
Where the faithful become the forlorn
and enemies become quiet lovers.
Dreams of deception, I cannot conceal
in my thoughts - In every hour
I've prayed to God and Devil for a deal
to release my dreams of their power.
You may look upon me, but do not judge me
for, your eyes can't see my soul.
I may just be that lowly snake
having an appetite to devour your goals.
Do Not Look Back In Lost Faith Is TOTALLY Irrelevant
In My World I Do Look Back In Revenge (Is So Sweet) Yes
(God) Satan In Same Better Dare Not Cross My Path
Who Cares You Are Angry----I Curse (God) Daily As I
Watch Him Sit There In His Insane Realm---
With (He Has) His Hands Over His Ear......NO (Illusion) JOKE...
Your Only AS FATE As It Is To Keep On Going ....
