their is love in this garden
love like colors
built and broken
in so many shades
......their is love in this garden
baby but don't breathe in too much air
.... I'll float away

Their is chills in the air
and the sound of silence is everywhere
...your hand is planted at my chest
my only peace is rest
and lately...that is only a dream
silly you
you think
...you believe
that you can save me
you feel the rise and fall
of the House of Ushers
and you want to apply pressure
...but you don't
don't want to be the one
You lift me like a flower to breathe
from out the garden full of weeds
I lay there on my belly
just split open seed
...and the path bleeds
darlin my soul is dying
and I feel the life that you are
and I want a piece
I want you to fill and fill me
I am an artifact to you
.....you pleasingly have your hands
on something old yet something so new
and you rub me too
you wake me with artificial rain
over my face and down my leg
reminds me of Jazz
sitting inside of the window pane
in Narlens
listening over the concrete jungle
where life itself is music
.....til you learn the rhythm
of the saxaphone and have your keys played in the middle of midnight in June
or
have the sweet sounds of the vio-lens singing in your ear beating the beat of the drums rub up and down on your skin
while
the guitar strum-strum-strumming to the thumping of your heart, "the world seems bright, alright"

the tremble change
the music rearrange and
your left with artifical rain on your face and running down your leg
yeah and another new neddle wants to play ~~go round and round and round

baby your world spins
and you want it to end .....now you find yourself layin
in a beautiful garden
shaded oh so jaded
.......with weeds
and the flow of you bleeds
and no longer do your flowers feel the need to sing

when you so close so close to me
I feel as if I can't breathe
I feel the need to take flight
not tonight no......
there is a full moon rising
so instead I lay on my belly
close my eyes
and sink and sink into you lies
then after you tongue is dry
after your eyes won't cry after you beg for me to stop after your drained through-out i will slide closed mouth from within the garden close nearing the bay and I will float
float away

This is quite a journey, Mitzi, and one that is both shared but also with each taking different paths, twists and turns for both of the people you talk about here. There is a unity and a shared experience, but also a solitariness and a difference of desire and expectation for each person, I think. You have managed to bring the feeling of both to the fore here, and have expressed with great insight the thoughts and feelings that can accompany two different people - even whilst yet engaging in the closest of physical acts. Neat write that lays bare layers and depths of feeling. Thank you. Kate xx

As the feelings unfold themselves in this poem. You took the readers with you down that dark corridor. My heart goes out to you. Well-done.
