*baby ifn you got it flaunt it
lace yo self in dem deep colors
hit streetlights and go

you fall like clouds out of the sky

drenched in indigo

deep set in your hair reminds me of purple suits and matching hats

we prance like ponies

feathers match sockings clean...new

high heel shoes

I smell like rain water fresh with jasmine

hot red long legs and short skirts

shinny black like blue indigo

and we prance like ponies

till it gets to us

hollar back up spine

all it done got to us

and dem boys play like the end is near and coming up fast

dem boys play like it is summertime friday and saturday nite

dem boys play like we ain't down the street from dem otha boys in blue

and it don got to us cause

slick down don curled up

tight like water hit it

like we ain't gon f*** all night and be ready to pray all day in anuther day

cause we still curl up to cartoons in the morning playing toe touching in da morning

maybe another deep blue or red or purple whichever is ready from the cleaners

step out for the streetlights shows sparkling caddies and dem boys pumping that music like it ain't nobody business

cause it ain't nobody business

nobody

Artful and brilliant... "Pumping like" reveals its pictures exoterically... A magnificent composition in contents and emotions.

Mitzi...the colors you infuse into this write with the passionate embrace of the living city, the flash of energy of a Saturday night and the slow coming alive of a lazy Sunday is rich indeed.

In faces lost to time reality cries to voice little to hope, just a page in rage counting, you are a reporter talking seeing and adding image to a page already full, folk writer, story teller, truth blowing down a street... special.. Walt

I like the way you expressed this. I really like "We prance like ponies" saying.
Outstanding write.
Stop by my den and watch the rapture video, it may just bless your soul.
God bless.
