About this Poem - Thank you for your comments on this poem, I did forget to mention that this poem was written by my favorite late Aunty Margie, she wrote this in troubled times before her passing, so now you understand where the sadness came from.
If you could look beyond my laughter
you would see my tears,
for I was not laughing
I was crying.
Each day is like a nightmare
I do my best, I try,
for I was not laughing
I was crying
My dreams are filled with horror
I try and make things right,
for I was not laughing
I was crying.
Bad days must eventually pass
a better life I am trying,
for I was not laughing
I was crying.
I didn't expect a poem like this after reading your bio. I don't know your inspiration, but let me share with you 1st Thessalonians 5:18 and Romans 8:28, please take time to read these from the Holy Scriptures. And yes, there are better days ahead, so keep the faith and thanks for sharing your poetic talent.
