Families members love and support,
sometime is confusing & fake,
some only love from distances!
Don't get your hopes to high,
watch how you love so deep,
always protect your heart!
Family will disappoint you,
maybe challenge that hope and your love!
Members of your family will-
go on vacations worldwide.
Florence Italy city of wondrous flowers!
Vatican City Rome and Nice France,
Jamaica, St. Lucia, Caribbean all over.
Mexico Spain all over the Middle East,
and many go to Africa and Jerusalem.
Jerusalem means City of God!
And have family reunions-
all over America,
each member trying to out do the rest!
Family will invest their,
heart mind and soul,
in some cases go broke to put it on,
the greatest family reunion ever!
When a home town family member,
gives a function right near their home,
the only investment is time and support,
we just have a problem showing up!
We give and show our love,
around the world,
instead of giving and sharing,
a tiny bit of that so called,
wonderful inspiring love at home!

A family is just composed of people like all others who can hurt us or support us. We can't pin our hopes and dreams on others but live our lives for ourselves and our immediate family.
Almost to personal to reply. But I understand the dilemma. No problem with my immediate family although they are more likely to take a vacation or travel than come and see me. But you're right about cousins. I've always reached out to my cousins and made a point to see them after thousands of miles of travel. For the most part, they have not reciprocated. I believe it's the nature of our society today. We spent so much time on our personal needs, we forget to spend some on those who we were close to long ago.
