Fascinating, and I often truly believe that humanity might truly be a cosmic experiment gone bad since we've done such an abysmal job of caring for this planet. In one of my posts, Who Are We? I even wonder if we are earth's true parasites.

I don't know, I sometimes get caught up in all the despair too. While there are some aspects to humanity that make me want to retch, there are others that are filled with great beauty. I wouldn't want to give up all the sunsets and sunrises I've seen. I wouldn't want to give up a night sky filled with billions of stars. I wouldn't want to give up the sights and sounds of the sea, crashing ashore. Or a tree, with its perfect symmetry, standing tall with nothing else in the world to do, but be admired. And whom may I ask would admire all those things if not us? And what of a perfectly composed piece of music, or a painting that conveys deep emotion.

All of those things exist because of love.

I hear you LOUD AND CLEAR and I can only concur. The world and our continued pettiness have been allowed to fester and ooze destructive pus from the festering lesions. If one is to believe the Holy Scrippture this could very well be the beginning of the end. Thought-provoking and in your face poem. I like that kind of writing.

Though this poem may sound abhorrent to many people, I think you are feeling what I too have felt Rage! Humanity has failed,and is itself to blame. Those who do not follow Creator's plan,(and that's the majority of people) are indifferent to the loss of reverence and respect for anything. They do not hold life sacred. Everything is superficial,and the worst crimes are just shrugged off as nothing. It can't go one this way much longer. Excellent work!

Mico management...cloning creativity...imaginations being a click away...thought process too tiring for mortls to persue...kids raising themselves and history being made daily just plain out sucks. We can't go forward and can't make amends because of apathy...we're on the verge of an explosion so horrific it defies definition and, yet...we choose to keep right on trucki'n.

Stupidity defies ignorance and ignorance is bliss.

It's a shame Rage!
