Lovely rays from the sun. Children out there having fun; licking suckers, eating mint. They are so very innocent.
At the park we see them play. It makes us think of yesterday. They play tag, some are caught. All they know is what they're taught. Their minds are fresh and soft as clay; filled with sheer naivete`.
They are so wild and so free, going through elementary. Some are strong, some are weak. Some have pride, some are meek. Some will climb the corporate ladder. Others think that nothing matter.
If we could go back in time, and do away with sin and crime; and walk the path of pulpit preachers; we'd grow to be such noble creatures.

You've assembled a provocative if occasionally cute collection of images of innocence and conceptually nostalgic nuances from the land of yore lore designed to stimulate a take me back to yesteryear's sentiment that is perhaps too idyllic to realize. As quaint as it is, I can't help but question the veracity of the idealism. To quote Joni Mitchell "we can only look behind from where we came, and go round and round and round in the circle game..." I prefer to look ahead with eccentricity at the concentrically spinning wheel as it gathers momentum. But reveries like this one make a nice momentary respite from the irregularities of daily life. Thanks for the memories....
