About three years ago, when I was living in Minneapolis Minnesota, I was seeing a counselor because I was diagnosed with major depression. Whenever I would write a new poem, my counselor Susie Kennelly would be the first person that I would read it to. Susie loved all of my poetry, and I bacame increasingly fond of Susie Kennelly as the weeks turned into months, and the months turned into years. Eventually, I wrote a poem about Susie. I read it to her, and she smiled, and blushed. So here it is... this is for you Susie...
Susy my dear, you are so kind, that it drives me
absolutely out of my mind. When I am around you
I feel so enchanted, and dazed from your cat-like
eyes that are slanted.
I feel butterflies from my chest to my belly. I'm so
crazy about you Susie Kennelly. Susie, I think that
you are so nice, that if I had the chance, I would
marry you twice.
Foot note: Susie's name is spelled with an S, and it
is not spelled the traditional way with a Z.
This is really nice.Your poem is a "thank you" for what Suzy has done and mean to you in your battle with depression.I am sure when Suzy sees this,she will blush even more and have a much bigger smile on her face.I enjoy reading it,take care

Harold, this is darling and I love the last couple lines. While reading the whole composition, I found myself smiling. Those who bring a smile - a touch of joy - to others are surely quite special.
How lovingly sweet you are and such a warm, beautiful piece reflecting kindness and love. Interesting, I used to live in North Mankato, MN and loved every minute of it....
