The mind struggles
under street lights
while the night cries
from your absence.
Wrapped in darkness
I curse the stars—
their betrayal was
unnecessary.
Your name I trace
in sparkling, soft,
velvety snow—
so glorious,
just as you are
today, always
my dear mother,
safe in Heaven.
