Relay The cold feel of the books return as I walk in the library's shadow that ice rink beneath the clock tower. I feel the stacks tugging their prodigals then slip and see cobalt blue so close I feel as one with the flying books. The padded parka saves my back but concrete feasts on creaky knees with a side order of severed tendon. Somewhere a siren wails� A saffron-scarfed angel reaches down and escorts my prodigals home.

Interesting and it could describe the Relay For Life Race because of the imagery. A well done post.
