LORD HEAR MY PLEA

You cried in desperation

Alone in that cold room

There’s no one there to comfort you

In your lonely situation

Where are you God I need you

Please comfort me somehow

Won’t you show me what to do

Can’t you love me even now?

Have I been so bad

No one could ever love me

I’m all alone at night

Lord can’t you hear my plea?

Can you send an angel

Who can love me like your Son

Send her to me now dear Lord

More than just the one.

I’m searching all around

And I’m touched by what I see

There are angels every where I look

Who are watching over me.

I love you Lord for giving

Your grace and love and care

Thank you Lord for sending

Someone who will my burden share.

From this day forward Lord I plea

And I promise to obey

It’s on my knees I’ll stay

Because you’ve loved even me.

The days when life was at it’s worst

When I felt so all alone

I’m learning now dear Lord

My tears were not my own.

I give you all the glory Lord

The honor and the fame

I’ll shout to you my praise

And forever speak your Name.
