Thanksgiving Day give thanks |
|
With our heads bowed low
Hands folded in accord
It’s time for all us now
To thank you our sweet Lord
On this special day, Lord
We thank you as we meet
We gather at this table
We celebrate and we eat
The pilgrims who did land
On this rugged Eastern shore
Now we all do celebrate
This day forever more
We thank you Lord for everything
The blessings you’ve bestowed
The joys and all the happiness
And we watch it all unfold
Thank you for the bounty Lord
That only comes from you
It’s spread across this table
On this day we’re thanking you.
