BACK TO IDAHO The song of the mountain bluebird Wakes me to a brand new day The crisp clean mornin’ air And. a gentle breeze takes me away. To a place where cool clean waters flow From the high peaks where the big pines grow I’m comin'home Back to Idaho Horses grazin’ lazily On the green grass growin’ there The balsam root with its yellow bloom Ah, Spring is in the air The deer come down at night alone It’s sights like these that make me know I’m comin'home Back to Idaho. CHORUS: I don’t know why I leave you And the peace I’ve come to know Tomorrow I’ll be coming home Back to Idaho. LEAD BREAK CHORUS
