It was freezing cold and raining. We had just watched a plane leave the Boise Airport when my 7 year old son said, "I don't like it when Kate is gone. It's too cold here without her."

WINTER RAIN It’s so cold here without you. Like a freezin’ winter rain. And this empty bed I sleep in Doesn’t help to ease my pain. As I stood and watched your plane go I could feel my love for you grow. Like the soft summer sunshine Warmin’ up a lonely hillside. BREAK I don’t know when you’re comin’home. You never really said for sure. But this emptiness I’m feelin’ now Will be gone when you’re back here. REPEAT VERSE # 1
