Tears like water

Flowing from a broken cistern

Pain like knot

Slowly, persistently, tightening,

 Choking light from life

Leaving behind darkness and void

Groping, clawing, begging, screaming

Hungry, angry, hating, loving, needing

Nothing remain but emptiness

Void darkness

Morning will come I know

And I will rise

Rise like the sun

bursting  through the Eastern sky

but for now in the darkness of the midnight

i must move through it

to get through it
