The house ablaze, there's no one home
Except the ferret, cat and fish
How did this start? All hope is gone,
'If only they had lived', I wish!

To get a call you've lost it all,
Extreme for sure, to say the least
But in this fall, I'm not appalled,
Thank God, my life has not yet ceased!

And in the midst I must insist
That He knows all about my scene
So now my mind sets out to find
How can this trauma be serene?

Within myself, there is no way,
But thanks to God, I see my friend
And Josh assures a brighter day
Will come to bring new hope again!

Yes, trust, not question, is the key,
For life's not fair to one and all
Yet through this may a new light be;
For sure, God soon will make this call
"TRUST IN TRAGEDY!"
