Your piercing truths don’t pain as lies.
I welcome oft their pleading cries
when bid they speak though beckoned not,
sweet truth proclaims amongst our plot.
And when I hear that voice, I nod,
for shedding skins of sins to trod
upon true earth and not on men
or children sweet who’ve never been
cold soured by the sum of lies
that scale the cliffs and climb the skies
against good truth,
against pure youth,
against whom love dignifies.
