I looked at me today

For the first time I looked into the mirror today, not because I had to.

This time because I wanted to.

I saw not a beautiful person, something better, a loved person.

I woke up this morning knowing God loves me, I looked in the mirror and that is what I saw

I saw me, not a beautiful person, something better a happy person.

I woke this morning thinking to my self I will be 48 on Tuesday and history will be made on that day

I will wake up that morning and say, thank you God for my gift of life. I have already open my gift.

I woke up this morning knowing God sent his son a long time ago to bare my sins.

I thank you God for my gift. I so dearly believe in my heart and confess with my mouth Jesus is lord

Thank you God for saving a sinner like me. Lord keep me in the palm of your hand.

I woke up this morning and looked at me today, I smiled and said this is going to be a great day.

I know there will be things to make me mad or sad, I will think about what I saw in the mirror today.

I will take a deep breath and remember today is a great day I am flesh and human, God gave me this gift of

life. This gift allows me to have choices and I choose to treasure my gift of life and be happy because I know
