Just another on the roller coaster that is life. Written in the 1980's.
Everyone I'm close to Seems to always go away. What did I do so wrong in the past? To make me hurt today? The little security I had, Was demolished long ago By someone who felt it inside, But refused to let it show. Is anyone ever sincere, Or is it just a game to play? "I love you" shouldn't mean so much. They're just words people say. "It's better to have loved and lost, Then to have never loved at all." Have I ever really loved? Or did I just begin and fall.

typographical errors in your good poetry conveyed a different meaning to me initially. like "every one I'm close too", and " Is everyone every sincere? ". apart from these errors, the poem is lovely.

Lovely romantic poem JoAnna. I enjoyed reading it today. Each verse
conveyed a message about love and I really liked the verses "It's better to have loved and lost, then to have never loved at all". I agree.

If someone leaves, it means they were not meant to be with us...and some of us have many more experiences than others...in time we generally become more balanced, and draw better experiences and people more suited to us into our lives...also as we get older we tend to see these 'relationships' more philosophically...or at least try to!

on the phrase to "fall in love"...well...to begin

with...who knows?...
